The Rez Café
Medford, MA
BWK Construction Co., Inc. served as
the General Contractor for the Rez Café renovation. Tappe Associates’ design
aesthetic purposefully blends city chic with that of durable material
selection and revitalization of the existing assemblies. The seating
area received elegant pendant lighting, 3form translucent resin panels
suspended from cables and red uplighting at the soffits. Commercial
grade kitchen equipment and millwork were installed in the serving
and preparation areas, which included a recycling center to accommodate
Tufts’ Green initiatives. The blackboard surfaces and wireless
access create a freeform environment for all to explore. |
